At Heatherbank Guest House we are surrounded by spectacular scenery and generally the first word our guests utter is ""WOW"
Just five minutes from the house on the Pollech Road you can climb the few fairy steps among the trees to be amazed by yet another fantastic view. There is a picnic table and bench there so you can sit quietly and appreciate the splendour of your surroundings.
The steps are made of mica so its worth having a closer look at them sparkle as you climb.
Just a few miles outside Fort William, you can visit Neptune's Staircase and wander up the banks of the canal.
Travel down to Oban for the day and you will come to the Castle Stalker. Its definitely worth stopping there as the cafe serves lovely food and coffee (Lavatze) and you can walk down to the shores at the Castle.
In the opposite direction you can travel to Mallaig and across to Skye renown for its beauty and splendour.
Over the Lochaline road and you come to the Mull Ferry. Just a short trip and you can spend the day touring this beautiful island and then back in time for dinner.
